Guided imagery and visualization is a natural state of mental relaxation that we can purposefully generate for personal change work–or simple relaxation for stress reduction.

Most often, but not always, it is done by simply leaning back and closing your eyes while concentrating on an image or sequence of images suggested by the Life Coach & Holistic Counselor. (It can also be done with the eyes open and slightly unfocused.)

It is much like daydreaming with the attention span narrowed or directed toward a particular area of concern.

Ideally, it works best when you can suspend all judgment and analysis while in this altered state, and just open to your creativity, and go with the flow.

Guided imagery has been successfully used for decades by performance and sports coaches. It has been proven repeatedly in many research studies that this method promotes an amazing improvement in nearly any and all activities and skills.

Many people use the terms guided imagery interchangeably with visualization.

In reality, the differences are, visualization refers to seeing or visualizing something in your imagination whereas guided imagery tends to include all the senses: hearing, seeing, touching, tasting, and smelling.

During this procedure, you generally maintain awareness and control over your responses, and will not usually do or say anything that is not personally acceptable.

This state can provide the foundation for much of the rapid change work that I offer.

While you are enjoying this relaxed state, I can show you how to open up that channel of communication with your own unconscious mind so that you can reprogram it for your desired outcomes.

Aligning Perceptual Positions

When we become overly emotional with feelings such as anger or frustration, our perceptions usually become skewed. For example, think about a time when you became so full of anger or rage that you couldn’t even "see straight."

During that experience, you were so clouded by your own perceptions that you were unable to relate to the other person in a calm, aligned and objective way.

This guided imagery procedure directs you to bring to mind a situation involving you and another person where you were overwhelmed by your emotions.

You are then instructed in how to bring back into alignment all your perceptions from the perspective of yourself, the other person, and as an imaginary objective observer.

The result is a much clearer experience of both yourself as well as the other person. It also fosters an intuitive understanding of the other person that goes beyond the usual channels of awareness.

In addition, you are then able to unconsciously and automatically use this process of perception and understanding whenever you have a dispute or conflict with another person, allowing a deeper and perceptually clearer relationship.

Core Transformation®Inner Child

This simple process offers a graceful way to change unwanted thoughts, feelings, and habits, and achieve goals you thought unattainable.

Through Core Transformation, you find that your limitations are actually doorways toward resolution.

You can use your blocks or limitations as stepping stones toward attaining your highest spiritual (core) states. These are the states that mystics and mediators spend years trying to achieve.

With Core Transformation, you can reach this spiritual state in just a few sessions, or less.

According to Connirae Andreas and and her sister,  Tamara Andreas, creators of this process, specific changes attributed to this highly refined process of guided imagery include career advances, enhanced prosperity, harmonizing and deepening relationships, transforming "problem" emotions into positive action, improving all aspects of health, and so forth.

Time Line™

The philosophy of Time Line is that we are ultimately responsible for creating our own circumstances. According to Tad James, PhD, creator of Time Line, by accepting this premise we have the power to make the changes in our life that we desire.

This process works at both the conscious and unconscious levels, and may be done using guided imagery, or through the physical action of "walking your timeline," as taught by John Grinder, PhD, author of the NLP system.

It gives you the mental power tools for selectively taking charge of your life. It is a swift and simple procedure for clearing out limiting blocks to success, and re-creating your future through setting goals and becoming master of your destiny.

It prepares you for cosmic enlightenment using a combination of ancient shamanic mysteries and quantum physics. All these things can be accomplished, on the average, in about a half dozen sessions or so.

Meditation Using Time Line™

Meditation can be experienced while engaging in many different activities. You can meditate while taking a walk, sitting cross-legged, washing dishes, chanting mantras, concentrating on a flame from a burning candle, and so forth.

It is fundamentally a process where we learn how to be in the present. When we are in the present, did you know that it is impossible to be in the past or in the future at the same time? Did you know that the present is where creativity happens? Where Inner Peace and Bliss exist?

When you are completely in the present, you cannot know anxiety, depression, fear, anger, or any other negative emotion.

They either belong to the past--"the shoulda', coulda', woulda's"--or  the "what if’s" of the future. If somebody took a chunk out of your past, why let him or her have a chunk out of your future too?

Interestingly, it is much easier than you think to just step into that state using the Time Line as a vehicle. Most mystics and mediators spend 10, 20 years, or a lifetime trying to experience that state of incredible Oneness.

You will be surprised as how effortlessly you can move into a place where you can know a refreshing and enchanting experience whenever you wish.

Change History: Re-imprint

This process is based on the understanding that the unconscious mind does not know the difference between fact and fantasy, as documented through the science of quantum physics.

For instance, imagine a time when you watched a particularly compelling movie and your body and emotions become enmeshed with the action on the screen, and you were in a highly charged emotional state.

Even though you (your conscious mind) knew it was only make-believe, your unconsciousness mind did not.

By appropriately installing a fantasy at the unconscious level where our unconscious mind can now respond to the fantasy–instead of the reality–as if it were true, we can literally reprogram our responses to be more resourceful, help us become unblocked and achieve success.

This is another one of literally hundreds of techniques taken from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
