What is Energy Psychology?
Energy Psychology is a
field of treatment that contains a collection of Energy Therapies.
Energy Psychology is sometimes referred to as Energy Therapy. It combines western and eastern approaches to balancing
and healing body and mind.
It achieves noticeable transformations in
the emotions and behavior of a person.
Energy Psychology is composed of a wide variety of techniques
that include involving the bioelectrical system of the body in a
subtle way for body/mind/spirit healing.
Some of the problems that can be treated by using energy psychology are:

Neuro-linguistic Programming
Neuro-linguistic Programming
(NLP) is an Energy Therapy sometimes referred to as Neuro-linguistic
Psychology. It is an approach to communication, personal development,
and healing therapies.
It offers a quantum focus
experience that draws on hypnosis, spirituality, philosophy, physiology,
energy medicine, cognitive science, and heals at the most personal
biological levels.
It utilizes language,
metaphor and imagery of Neuro-Linguistic Healing. NLP is not
hypnotherapy. Instead, it operates through the conscious use of language
to bring about changes in someone's thoughts and behavior.
NLP is used as a method
of personal development through promoting skills, such as
self-reflection, confidence, and communication.
It has been applied as
a therapy for psychological disorders, including phobias, depression,
generalized anxiety disorders (GAD), and post-traumatic stress disorder
or (PTSD), among others.
Emotional
Freedom Techniques (EFT) an energy technique created several years ago by
Gary Craig,
an engineer who initially studied under Roger Callahan, PhD, the creator
of Thought Field Therapy™ (TFT™). EFT presupposes that the cause of all
physical symptoms and negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s
energy system.
This
powerful,
easily mastered program is for self-use and can be used on literally

offers some powerful methods for goal accomplishment. It combines
guided imagery while tapping gently on the hand, face, and upper body.
By using TFT techniques, the client will then be able to
use positive visualization toward the achievement of their goals and
dreams.
This self-use technique has earned special
recognition as an ongoing popular and successful technique that has evolved over three decades ago by Roger Callahan, PhD, a
California psychologist.

Fast™ (BSFF™) is a powerful energy release work to rapidly achieve
behavioral and emotional symptom elimination such as fear, anger, sadness,
and trauma.
It was developed
as a self-help work by Larry Phillip Nims, PhD, a clinical psychologist
in California. He was a student of
Roger Callahan,
PhD, Thought Field Therapy; Gary Craig, Emotional Freedom
Techniques, and
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP),
among many other therapeutic modalities.
The premise of
BSFF theory is that problems are caused by unresolved negative emotions
and beliefs. It is similar to TFT and EFT. There is special added emphasis
on forgiveness and spiritual considerations. This work uses statements and
instructions to the unconscious mind, along with cue words and muscle
testing.
Reiki is an
ancient science that produces body-mind-spirit balancing. It is a natural,
powerful, life-force healing energy that is spiritually guided. It is
usually delivered through a gentle hands-on touch.
The origins are
lost in the shrouds of time; however, there are some interesting and
thought provoking speculations. It is believed by some channelers and
psychics that Reiki originated on another planet, and was brought here at
the beginning of civilization.
Scholars have
traced the use of this ancient spiritual healing method as being used by
long-ago Buddhist masters as well as Jesus Christ, the Great Physician.
A Reiki
Healer has their body’s energy channels opened and cleared by Reiki attunements (initiations).
A connection is then forged between Reiki, the universal band of energy,
and the Reiki Healer using ancient symbols by a Master.
As a result, the Reiki Healer
receives a substantial increase in life energy and the connection is
permanent to this limitless source of universal healing energy.
Reiki is not a
religion or affiliated with any religion.
This life force energy is the
source of life itself.
There are three levels of
attunements that create the Healer: Reiki I, Reiki II, and Reiki III
Master Healer/Teacher. Each degree’s attunements increase the power of the individual’s ability to channel the healing energy.
This process must be passed directly from Master/Teacher to student.
Healing includes
physical level diseases, emotional, mental, and karmic healing, as well as
distance healing. Reiki energy heals the whole person. Reiki not only
heals the obvious pain but also the physical and nonphysical source of the
pain.
I have been
using this gentle and compassionate form of healing on others since
receiving my first Reiki I, Reiki II, and then
Reiki III
Master Healer/Teacher
attunement. Now I pass on the attunements and training to others
as a Master Healer/Teacher.
The
Cameron
Aurameter
is an
intriguing
tool. It is a wand-like device that can perform everything from dowsing for
water, oil, finding missing persons or objects to measuring your aura.
Your aura is the
energy field that surrounds your body. You can feel this energy by
first rubbing the palms of your hands together, then place them facing
each other, an inch or two apart. You may feel a tingling, a warmth, or a
cushion of energy between your palms.
Most auras extend about 18 inches
from the physical body.
Depending on
your mood and the circumstances, you can deliberately change the size or
depth of your aura. For example, imagine you were tightly crowded into an
elevator of sweaty smelly construction workers. You would probably "shrink" (your
aura) as much as you could.
On the other hand, now imagine walking into a
room full of loving friends. By purposefully expanding your aura, you can
animate and magnify your charisma and those magnetic qualities that

It is used to help with post-traumatic stress disorders
(PTSD) and other traumas. EMDR involves
movement of the eyes as a form of therapy.
