My 7 Years in
"Anxiety Hell"

The feeling of being out of control overwhelmed me. I kept thinking that I should be able to control my symptoms just by using my will power.

I sweated, shook, couldn't get my breath, my heart raced, I was dizzy, and I thought I was going to die. I also lived in constant fear of having another panic attack.

This condition began in 1979 and lasted for 7 years. It began one day while I was barreling down the freeway in the fast lane. Suddenly, I was blindsided with an intense bout of dizziness and nearly lost control of the car.

That was the beginning of my "freeway phobia." Nearly every day, I would force myself to get back out there and try to control or overcome my "white knuckling" terror of driving on the freeway.

It only took a couple of hundred yards before I had my hazard lights blinking and was creeping along the shoulder until I reached the next exit.

From there, over the next several months, the symptoms escalated into full blown anxiety and panic disorders.

I went from doctor to doctor trying to find a cure. I saw psychologists, psychotherapists, and psychiatrists. I was spun in chairs, sent to ear doctors and neurologists. I had cat scans done of my brain and various other tests performed.

Nobody understood what was wrong with me. I was prescribed all kinds of pills that made me feel even worse. I sunk into a depression born of hopelessness.

My family and friends were often pressed into service to drive me about or accompany me on errands or to doctor's appointments when I was feeling especially shaky, uptight and fearful. The stress of my disorder frequently created a negative impact on others, and in my home life.

Anxiety was not recognized as a disorder with a classification by the medical or psychological community until the mid-1980s. No wonder I was unable to find help.

During this period of time, I returned to school to get my doctorate in psychology. This was in spite of my torturous disability--which I tried to keep hidden.

As a result of furthering my education, I began to discover an emerging field of alternative approaches to mental and physical wellness.

Being intrigued with all the exciting possibilities, I put all my attention on learning everything I could about anxiety, depression, and other related issues. The focus of my studies turned completely holistic and alternative in nature.

I spent several years going through many different therapeutic trainings--I have 34 certifications to date in addition to my academic degrees, internships, psych-assistantships and additional supervised clinical practice.

I learned a number of mental, emotional, spiritual and physical processes that actually worked to transform anxiety into relaxation, peace of mind, joy of life, and personal empowerment.

Some of the leading edge techniques I learned that were alternative to conventional approaches at the time included achieving board certified mastery in medical and clinical hypnosis and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP).

Other certifications and trainings I got involved guided imagery, Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Thought Field Therapy, (TFT), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT also known as "tapping"), Core Transformation, timeline, past life regression, future life progression, and metaphysics, which is a philosophy that studies the general and fundamental problems, such as those connected with existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind and language. and more.

Go to my Magical Toolbox to learn about many of the different patterns, processes and techniques that I offer. You can also go to my Personal History to read more about my battles with anxiety.

Today, because of my own past struggles with anxiety and the resulting specialized education I got, I can now use that learning to help you,,, just like I was able to help myself.

I sincerely believe I can help you significantly improve the quality of your life--for good.

Please contact me now for more information and a free, private and confidential consultation by phone. I really want to hear from you....
